Thank you to all the students who joined us for the sixth annual Jie Ming Read-A-Thon from May 8 - May 21, 2023. 

This FUNdraiser is a great way for families and friends to support our school. Students can take pride in working hard on their reading skills and earning money for their school. Funds from past Read-A-Thons have been used to help supply our school library with books, STEM backpacks, functional book browsing bins and other supplemental student support. This year’s funds will be used to support the school with operating expenses and supplies, encouraging community engagement through hosting events, and supporting the world at large by advocating for cultural inclusivity.

Thank you to all the students for reaching out to family, friends, neighbors, and community members to help raise funds during this event!  We are happy to announce that we surpassed our goal this year thanks to all the effort of the students and the generosity of the sponsors!

All Donations are Tax Deductible

Ever donation made through the Read-A-Thon is fully tax deductible. You just need a donation receipt!

Online

Any donation made through the online pay pal portal will automatically create a reciept. One will be available through the app or emailed to the sponsor. Its that simple! Just remember to include the child's name that is being sponsored!

Cash or Checks

Any cash or checks that are dropped off at the school can also get a donation receipt emailed out. Just make sure to not only include three simple things with that sponsorship:

1. Sponsored Child's Name

2. Name of Sponsor

3. Email Address of Sponsor

4. Make a Note "Receipt Requested"

The receipt will then be emailed to the sponsor 2 - 3 weeks later.
