Book Fair
Welcome to the Jie Ming Book Fair! This is a great way for families and friends to encourage reading while helping to grow English reading resources.
The book fair will be held at the school in conjunction with parent - teacher conferences.
During the 2023-2024 school year, the PTA sponsored two book fairs. The $1,400 profit from the November book fair was donated directly to the school. We opted to for over $5,000 of Scholastic credit after the March book fair. The credit was used to purchase books for English and ELL teachers to add to their classroom collections and for students to select at the book give-away held at the end of the school year.
We hope to host two again in the 2024-2025 school year with one Scholastic Book Fair and another supporting a local bookstore, Red Balloon. Watch for opportunities to help with the book fairs during conference week.

The in-person book fair will be open during parent-teacher conference hours
