Grants
Volunteers help write grant submissions to help fund activities like Lego League and host free events, such as the Chinese New Year Performance

Book Fair
Typically held in conjunction with the conference week, funds raised during the book fair is then used to purchase books for teachers and provide students a free book before the summer break

Give to the Max Day (GTMD)
Give to the Max Day, held in November, is a statewide fundraising event in Minnesota that encourages donors to support their favorite charities through the GiveMN website

Read-a-thon
Held in Feb/Mar, the Read-a-thon is typically held over the course of two-weeks and encourages students to read.  They can then track minutes read and collect donations as a flat fee or on a  per-minute basis.

School Support

The School Support Committee helps to fund and or support the school  throughout the year  in the some of the following ways:

Teacher / Staff Appreciation

Special  Meals

Volunteers for School-wide Events

Room Parents

5th Grade Celebration Support

End-of-school Year Ice Cream Social

In lieu of an Events Committee, volunteers form special committees for various events throughout the school year.

Additional special committees include:

Spirit Committee / Spirit Wear
Works with our  vendor for spirit wear and manages the Shopify store front

Yearbook
A great way for students to remember their school year, the  yearbook committee designs and compiles the yearbook that is published in May (available for purchase around the beginning of May with custom page options)

Zero Waste
As a school & community dedicated to achieving zero waste, we utilize reusable supplies at our events and work to educate our students on how to
reduce - reuse - recycle - repair
